Why and when did you start making PSA's?
What are the lyrics to Too Many Kitties?
The Public Service Announcements can be used by any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Beta SP tapes are $50. The price includes sales tax and shipping to anywhere in the United States. Orders sent outside the United States may include additional shipping costs.
PSA's are on Beta SP, which is the format preferred by most television stations. I do not currently have the ability to make VHS copies.
Can you insert my organizations' logo onto the tape for me?
I do not have the capability to insert your logo for you. I can send you a copy of the PSA on Beta SP and you can insert your organizations' logo over the existing logo. This can be done at an editing facility. If you don't already have an editing facility in mind, contact your local access television station or local animal groups.
Why and when did you start making PSA's?
I believe education is the key to change. I hope that these public service announcements will encourage people to spay and neuter.
I started thinking about Can I Keep Her? in the summer of 1999 and completed it over a year later in the winter of 2000. Clay animation is a wonderfully tactile but slow process compared to digital animation. Once the PSA was complete, I started thinking about distributing it beyond Austin. That's when I created this website and started thinking about creating another PSA.
Too Many Kitties was a concept for most of 2001 and in the fall the music was created. After that it took about 3 full-time months to complete the animation and post production, with the project wrapping up in January of 2002.
I'm glad you asked! I come up with the concepts and start working, then pull people in when I need their expertise and talent. My fabulous friends and family are kind enough to volunteer their time, skills, equipment and creative juices to make these PSA's happen. Click on the links below to see who helped. Next to some people's names is a link to their business or home page. I encourage you to check them out!

What are the lyrics to Too Many Kitties?
| There's too many kitties in the cities |
| Too many strays in the alleyways |
| They're on the street with nothing to eat |
| And they've got nowhere to stay. |
| There's too many kitties in the cities |
|
And none too few in the country too |
| They're giving birth all over earth |
| But there's something you can do! |
| Get 'em neutered, get 'em spayed |
| Take 'em to the vet To the vet and get 'em set |
| It's better for the world |
|
And it's better for your pet. |
